Why these ingredients?

Rosehip Seed Oil:

When it is cold-press extracted, the oil is separated from the hips and seeds. For facial skin care, Rosehip Oil offers several benefits when applied externally. It protects the skin and increases cell turnover because it contains Beta Carotene (a form of Vitamin A), Vitamin C and Vitamin E which are all antioxidants that help fight free radicals. Rosehip Oil’s healing properties are due to its chemical structure. As noted, it’s rich in essential fatty acids, but more specifically Oleic, Palmitic, Linoleic and Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). Rosehip Oil contains Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids (Vitamin F), also known as an essential fatty acid (EFA), and when absorbed through the skin, these fatty acids convert to Prostaglandins (PGE), which are involved in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration. It is also one of the richest plant sources of Vitamin C which is another reason why Rosehip Oil is such a great choice for the skin and more.

Pumpkin seed oil:

Contains significant number of Antioxidants, Magnesium, Zinc, Omega 3- and 6- fatty acids as well as Antioxidants. Therefore, it has tremendous benefits for the skin in terms of retaining moisture, fighting free radicals and maintaining a youthful appearance.

St. Paul’s Wort:

Protects, strengthens and improves the dermis’ properties by consolidating the fragile Microvascular Network and stimulating the Detoxifying Systems. Reduces capillary leakages and accumulation of Glycotoxic Pigments responsible for uneven coloration and fatigue appearance.

Persian silk tree:

Can both protect and repair the protein structures damaged by Glycation (loss of sugars in skin which decreases elasticity) by supporting specific detoxifying systems (Glyoxalase and Proteasome). It is effective to maintain the cell mechanical viability, the optimal energy production, the Microvascular Network integrity and to limit the Lipofuscin (aging or “wear-and-tear” pigments) accumulation. It promotes the visible reduction of the signs of fatigue: dark circles, under eye bags, and dull complexion.

Calendula Extract:

It can affect blood flow to the skin cells, provide antioxidant protection that reduces the appearance of wrinkles and age spots, and even the visibility of scars. The petals and pollen contain Triterpenoid Esters, Carotenoids Flavoxanthin and Auroxanthin which have effective soothing and moisturizing properties. It is especially suitable for sensitive and irritated skin.

Echinacea Angustifolia:

Reduces capillary permeability and reinforces the capillary wall. Strengthens thin, delicate skin and stimulates new collagen synthesis. Helps to fade dark circles under eyes.

Acetylated glucuronic acid:

By stimulating Hyaluronic Acid Neosynthesis and by sustaining its turnover, it helps deliver optimal moisturizing and elastic properties of the skin.  As it increases Elastin Synthesis, it is helping to smooth out wrinkles, moisturize skin surface and depth, and increase skin suppleness and resistance.
