Why is hemp used in the T-shirts?

We believe that hemp is a versatile crop that can play a role in many aspects of life.

The cultivation of hemp dates back to 8000 BCE, and researchers trace this plant’s origins to regions in Asia, specifically China and Taiwan. 

Given that human agriculture began around 10,000 years ago, hemp is likely one of the first agricultural crops. Sometimes called “Sacred Grass” or “King of Seeds,” people have been using hemp for multiple reasons, including clothing.  

Throughout history, people have been making pants and shirts using hemp. Some individuals even consider hemp a miracle fiber because of its many benefits.

Hemp is strong. With the addition of hemp, our CBD merchandise is lightweight and absorbent even though hemp offers three times the tensile strength of cotton. 

Hemp is also weather-resistant, preventing UV and mold from ruining your CBD merchandise when you’re outdoors. It can also combine well with other fibers like silk and cotton to provide additional comfort. 

Another critical benefit of hemp is its cost-effectiveness. Because its growth requirements are minimal, hemp is less expensive to farm. It’s also easier on the environment as it doesn’t require any chemical pesticides or fertilizers.

None of the ingredients in our T-shirts will irritate your skin. Our primary ingredient in our CBD merchandise is hemp, and no research suggests the crop will irritate your skin.
