One credible insider claims that developers are more than a year into development on Naruto Ninja Storm 5, the highly anticipated 3D arena fighter.

New Naruto Boruto Ninja Storm 5 Game Reveal Soon

An insider claims that Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 is well into development and could be revealed very soon. Fighting games often have a hard time moving away from the 2D styles seen in games like Street Fighter or Dragon Ball FighterZ, but the Naruto Ninja Storm series managed to create incredibly tight gameplay and fast-paced battles in a large 3D arena. The series faithfully retold the epic storyline of one of manga's most popular series, Naruto. It also managed to create surprisingly deep gameplay mechanics for its multiplayer modes.

Although Naruto Ninja Storm 4 covered the end of the series and the Boruto film, fans have been requesting a new game for a while. CyberConnect2 created the Storm series and has since moved on to developing the stylish Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles game, but unfortunately, the multiplayer for that game failed to satisfy most Storm fans. The Boruto series has released a few arcs and had some time to buildup a formidable roster of new characters that would be perfect for a new Ninja Storm game. Rumors now suggest that is precisely what is happening.

According to one credible insider, fans waiting for Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 may finally see the game announced soon. Reported by The Gamer, Youtuber and anime gaming insider Senju in Japan released a video hinting that an official reveal for the highly anticipated 3D arena fighter could be coming very soon. While the video below doesn't give many details, Senju in Japan's sources claim the game has been in development for more than a year now. It is unclear if that game's called Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 5 or if it will take on a new title. It will likely cover the new arcs featured in the Boruto storyline. Other reliable insiders have supported Senju's claims. He states more information on Storm 5 will be arriving soon on his Youtube channel.

The last game in the Storm series managed to successfully cover the epic climax of the Naruto series. It also supported a roster of more than one hundred playable characters for its multiplayer. Unlike traditional fighting games, the Storm series uses the same buttons and movesets for every character to show off their abilities. However, each character has unique techniques and combos that allow players to execute and form their most tactically efficient team in fast-paced 3D arena battles. Modders have managed to add new Naruto content to Storm 4, but fans have been anxious for a new game using Storm's engine.

New technology and talented developers have created some fantastic games based on anime properties. Games like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles have managed to recreate some of those series' most intense moments. Fueled by developers' passion and modern graphics, moments like Goku's Kamehameha vs. Kefla can be presented in a way that surpasses both the anime and manga. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm fans are excited to see what newer technology can do with the franchise, and if this leak is true, they may not have to wait long.
