Hulk Hogan's Surprising Choice For "The New Generation Hulk Hogan."

Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest stars to ever set foot inside a WWE ring and it could be argued that the company has yet to find a star as big as him to replace him.

But, "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan himself has pinpointed the current WWE Superstar he believes could be the modern-day version of him and it's actually a rather surprising name.

On Friday night, Hogan shared a snap of him and Mahal together after The Modern Day Maharaja visited Hogan's Beach Shop and the post was accompanied by some high praise for the former WWE Champion.

"The old school respect with the new school Jinder Mahal physicality, he's a bad man brother, with the right push he could be the new generation Hulk Hogan, he's got it all brother."

Jinder Mahals Path To Being The Next Hulk Hogan

Mahal is a former WWE Champion, United States Champion and 24/7 Champion, but he's yet to get close to the heights he was at when he was a world champion.

Most recently he's been involved in the Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss storyline on SmackDown. His most recent match was in a 6-man tag-team match where he, Corbin and Shanky lost to McIntyre, Erik and Ivar.

Mahal is set to take part in the 8th Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal which will be held on the Friday Night SmackDown episode before WrestleMania 38. He'll be taking on the likes of Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Robert Roode and Apollo Crews.

Who knows,if Mahal wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal it could be the next step he needs to begin his climb to the status of 'New generation Hulk Hogan' but he would need one hell of a push to reach the heady heights of Hogan.
