Brock Lesnar's Rumored Opponent At WrestleMania 37 Revealed

Multiple reports have stated that Brock Lesnar's WWE contract recently expired, and that he's officially a free agent.
However, the expectation is that the Beast Incarnate will eventually sign a new contract with WWE. There aren't any indicators that he's interested in going back to the UFC, and Chris Jericho seemingly ruled out the possibility of AEW signing Lesnar.
The former WWE Champion resides in Canada, and the border is closed to non-essential traveling. It has also been suggested that WWE isn't keen on using Lesnar for shows without any fans in attendance.
But all signs point towards Lesnar returning to WWE at some point. In fact, it sounds like the company is already considering a marquee match for Lesnar at WrestleMania 37, which is currently scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on March 28.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Andrew Ravens of WrestlingNews.co), Lesnar "had been talked about in WWE in reference to a Drew McIntyre rematch for this coming WrestleMania."
A rematch between the two superstars depends on if McIntyre retains his WWE Championship over Randy Orton. The two are reportedly slated to continue their feud up untilSurvivor Series.

Per WWE tradition, Lesnar is entitled to a championship rematch. He received opportunities for the Universal title when he lost it to Roman Reigns in 2018 and to Seth Rollins in 2019.
So the rekindling of a feud with McIntyre makes plenty of sense here, especially when you consider that Lesnar has already clashed with most of the WWE's top main event superstars.
WWE Needs To Continue The Lesnar-McIntyre Program
The buildup for the Lesnar-McIntyre match at WrestleMania 36 was nothing short of thrilling and unique. Simply put, this feud deserves more than one match. When the time is right, WWE needs to give Lesnar a rematch against McIntyre. These two displayed remarkable chemistry together in the ring, and WWE has to go back to it down the road.
