The story takes place in a institute (Honnoji Academy) where the students have uniforms (goku uniforms) that increase their abilities and depending on the amount of living fibers of combat they are ranked by stars (10% 1 star, 20% 2 stars, 30% 3 star). These uniforms are given thanks to the intermediation of the red thread with each character. The student council president, Satsuki Kiryuin, enforces the rules by force with the help of the elite four.
