AEW's Kip Sabian Debuts New Look At Unannounced Meet and Greet

Injured All Elite Wrestling star Kip Sabian made an unannounced appearance at an AEW meet and greet in Chicago during All Out weekend ... and he showed off his bizarre new look.

According to multiple people in attendance, Sabian arrived at the autograph signing wearing a cardboard box over his head. The box had eye holes, and the slogan "underrated over it" was written across the front. Crudely rendered sand timers had been drawn on either side of Sabian's box helmet.

The UK wrestler brought photos of himself in his new headgear to sign at the meet and greet and later took to social media to share an image of his new attire. "Time doesn't heal," Sabian captioned the image. "It changes you."

Kip's box is reminiscent of the paper bag worn by Shia LaBeouf to the premiere of Nymphomaniac at the Berlin Film Festival in 2014.

Sabian has been absent from AEW programming since April when he sustained an injury to his shoulder. Sabian had surgery on his injured shoulder in May, as was documented on his YouTube channel. As we previously reported, Sabian's presence in Chicago fueled speculation that he may be involved in Sunday's All Out pay-per-view in some capacity.

The storyline reason for Sabian's absence is that he was attacked by Miro, who slammed his former friend's arm into a door on an episode of Dynamite. Prior to that moment, Sabian and Miro had been a team, with Miro even serving as Sabian's best man during his on-screen (and totally legit) wedding to his now-wife Penelope Ford. As you might recall, the wedding did not go smoothly.

Could Sabian's new look be a sign of things to come? Will he return to AEW with a new gimmick? Only time (symbolized by sand timers scribbled on the side of a box in felt tip pen) will tell.
